Black-headed gull flock in flight.jpg

I spent many days last Autumn at a local lake where there were large flocks of black-headed gulls feeding. I was keen to capture something a little different so I set a very slow shutter speed and experimented by purposely moving the camera in different ways during each exposure. For this image I focussed on a flock of gulls in flight and used the shadws on the opposite bank and the atumn colours to complement the trails from the flying birds. Location: Cheshire, UK
